Eran Naveh

Award for a young Israeli artist
Eran Naveh Born in Rehovot 1979, BA and MA in Art Studies Program, Bezalel Academy of Art and Design.
Naveh's work is multidimensional and works in the field of painting, sculpture, drawing, video and performance. The raw materials with which they work are often available and everyday materials, along with metaphysical inspiration such as time and space. His work consists of improvisational systems that appear to reflect mental and physical states such as decay, depression, decay and terror, alongside traditional and modernist questions such as the relationship between form and content and the preference for borderline between professional and amateur, planned and random. Naveh touches on internal artistic questions, raises questions related to modes of expression, style, boundaries of language, medium and methods of execution.
His works are full of black humor and inner jokes that bring the art back to the banal reality and to a position that turns back to the monumental. The mindset in the works is swept into areas of dreamlike and surreal escapism without relinquishing the material presence and touch of the hand.
